The standout feature of this jack cup in my opinion is the shallower dish.  I prefer using 90 degree plugs to keep the wire tucked in and this jack cup allows me to get a better grip on the plug when it's time to change guitars.  The standard "E socket" design buries the plug too much making it difficult to grab and unplug.  The Rutters design is simple perfection, just like his saddles.
