Fixes my only issue with the otherwise perfect telecaster design! Installed perfectly on a Player HH tele and now I can easily switch pickups without hitting the volume knob.

Not just for frustrated stratocaster players
My first thought upon installing this control plate was that it didn't look so vintage with the slant.
Twenty minutes later when I was playing a passage that required me to move back and forth from bridge to neck PU for different phrases, I was doing so without even thinking about it - something that never happens to me on a regular tele where moving from bridge position to neck is certainly do-able but always feels a bit sticky.
By the next day, I thought how is that all telecasters are not designed this way?
I can't see a good reason. Whatever the reason is, it isn't a functional one.
The plate is solid. Good quality. Also took up a bit of real estate on my pickguard and so the pickguard will require a bit of a trim. (About 3 mms to keep the same screw holes)
I am very pleased.

My favorite control plate on the market
With the "strat angle" and the extra 3/8", this is my favorite Tele control plate on the market. In my opinion the Volume knob could move back a little further yet, but then maybe guys who ride the Volume knob would complain it's too far.
I had to sand the radius on both pickguards I tried it with. The end radius on this plate is just a tad generous and the pickguards need to be modified likewise to fit. That was my only complaint.
