I scored a MIM standard Telecaster for $125 years ago, which was a sweet deal but the weakest part of that guitar was the bridge, which had six barrel-type saddles. The MIM Teles up to '97 are curious beasts in that they have no holes for string-thru loading. Also, the bridge is the same three-screw footprint as the American Standard. I was at a loss until I discovered this bridge from Rutters. Easy installation, and it totally transformed the tone of the guitar. Best upgrade I could have made, and now it is a very unique axe.
